Hello All,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have completed my 2nd round of more robust chemotherapy (i.e. 5 consecutive days rather than 3) and "everything" continues to be going well!!! I still need to wait a week or so for "official" results, BUT... I am not having any of the side effects advertised as being possible for this type of treatment unless you count my increased appetite, which they contribute to a steroid they are giving me (i.e. yummie)! Along with each chemotherapy session, I am being giving a whole other regiment of medications for reducing or eliminating bad side effects (i.e. these people know what they are doing)! So, for now, Denise and I are able to better relax in our hotel, for just over two weeks, while waiting for my next chemotherapy session to start, which I feel strong enough to start today, but my body needs to wait!
Now, the more important part of this past chemotherapy week-end is the visit from my twin brother, Bob (i.e. see attached picture)! What a treat for both Denise and I!!! It's one thing talking about the diagnosis of the illness at the beginning of the year over the phone, email, etc., but it really hit home when we discussed it in person (i.e. too much emotion and love to mention here)!!! However, the main take-aways for this week-end where the special conversations and time spent together between the three of us, the fact that he, personally, sees how strong that I am after only two chemo treatments, and that the love and support that I depend upon so dearly is real and is the major contributor to my healing so quickly!!! Everyone should be blessed with a twin!!! Love you, Bob!!!Denise and I are looking forward to our next special visitor, Pam, coming out this week!!!
Also, I wanted to put out a "HUGE" thank you to Denise's family for all the packages that we returned to from the hospital this week, which we have yet to "ENJOY"!!! Personally packaged healing prayers, candles, angels, flowers, etc.. along with games and DVDs to keep us entertained was a "HUGE" surprise and most appreciated!!! Special gifts from special people dear to my heart!!! Thank-You!
Last, but not least, Denise and I would like to thank , Laura and Tonie, for the peace of mind that you have been providing us for taking care of our home. Not having to worry about these concerns, while having treatments, is allowing us to heal more quickly, so we can once, again, enjoy our home and your special company! Thank-You!
So, this concludes this week's update! Thank you, "ALL", for all the support, calls, cards, prayers, text, gifts, etc. during this difficult time. Denise and I couldn't have a better support system!!! We are truly blessed!!!
Thank you and love and miss you all!

P.S. Just to leave on a funny note... before my Brother Bob returned back home yesterday, he presented Denise and I "his & her" copies of the book, "Love, Medicine, & Miracles". Besides the incredible and emotional "inscription" that he signed in each book for each of us, which we will share with others as they come out, I did start to read the first chapter as I went to bed last night. So, to my sister's wonderful daughters (i.e. our nieces Ali and Coleen), besides the miracle of my healing so quickly, another miracle is that I started reading a book, which the two of you for years have been told I have never done:)
