Hello All,

Just wanted to provide a quick update that I will not be in the hospital doing my 2nd round of chemotherapy until most likely next Tuesday, 1/21, since my immune system still needs to get a little big stronger after the 1st round of chemotherapy. According to the doctors, this is not unusual and the safest way to go into a chemo a second time.

So, Denise and I will be spending the week-end in hotel and watching the Pats crush the Broncos (i.e. hopefully). I do have to go in for a shot everyday in the afternoon to help build my white blood cell counts back up for Tuesday, which includes having to get away from the Pats game on Sunday afternoon to do. However, Denise said that I can call her for updates, since she won't leave the game to go with me for that shot (i.e. I think she is kidding:)).

Anyways, this is only a quick update and everything is still going and looking well! Thank you for all the cards, prayers, text, etc. during this difficult time. I couldn't have a better support system!

P.S. Just to leave everyone on a funny note... We have been told there is big "rodeo" event that comes to Houston every February that is very popular out here. After telling Denise that I wouldn't mind going for a day to knock it off our "bucket list", while we are here, she didn't remember it ever being ON our "bucket list":). LOL
